SECTION A: VISITOR INFORMATION

SECTION B: DECLARATION OF CULTURAL COMPLIANCE

As a visitor to the traditional lands and sea country of the Mualgal Nation, I declare that I understand and agree to the following:

✅ Cultural Respect

• I acknowledge the Mualgal people as the rightful Traditional Owners of the Totalai lands and seas.

• I recognise the spiritual and cultural significance of all places I may be permitted to access.

• I will act in a manner that honours the ancestral laws, customs, and sacred knowledge of this Country.

  
  

✅ Permissions and Boundaries

• I will not enter any site without written approval from the Totalai Governance Council.

• I understand that access is location-specific and time-limited, and cannot be transferred to others.

• I will comply with any guidance or restrictions communicated by Elders, rangers, or cultural liaison officers.

  
  

✅ Behavior and Conduct

• I will not photograph, film, or document sacred or restricted sites without explicit permission.

• I will not touch, remove, disturb, or interfere with natural materials, marine life, or cultural objects.

• I will not share or publish any traditional stories, names, songs, or knowledge without community consent.

  
  

✅ Post-Visit Responsibility

• I will provide a Visit Report and share any relevant findings or materials within 30 days of departure.

• I understand that all materials derived from this visit may be requested by the Totalai Governance Council.

• I agree to appropriately acknowledge the Mualgal Nation in any publication, media, or research outputs.

SECTION C: CONSEQUENCES OF NON-COMPLIANCE

I understand that failure to comply with these protocols may result in:

• Immediate termination of access

• Reporting to cultural authorities, institutions, or government bodies

• Exclusion from future permissions to visit or work within Mualgal Country
